BIOGRAPHY / CONTACT

Kimberley M. Eady (b. 1993, Renfrew, ON) is a painter and nurse working in Ottawa, Ontario.

While working in both primary and tertiary care, Kimberley earned a BFA, summa cum laude, from the University of Ottawa in 2022. Kimberley was the recipient of the Edmund and Isobel Ryan Visual Arts Scholarship (First Prize Ex Aequo; Painting) and a BMO 1st Art! Prize nomination.

Her work has been exhibited in North America including Ottawa and Toronto and featured internationally among EU and UK artists. Kimberley has been the recipient of artists grants from the Ottawa Arts Council, the City of Ottawa, the University of Ottawa, and was hosted at Lac-Cole Artist Residency, QC, in 2022.

Kimberley’s paintings have been acquired locally, published in Issue 01 of flo. literary magazine based in Ottawa-Quebec, and featured on Akimbo for alumnus programs.

 

A full-time healthcare worker, artist, and occasional art criticism writer and editor, Kimberley maintains a studio practice in downtown Ottawa’s historic building, The Rectory Art House.
